Wedding day today and due to tie the knot at 3 pm so it was down to Oistins
for a morning sail to calm the nerves.
The swell had picked up a bit and the shore dump was becoming a challenge.
I opted for the Switch 107 and 6.2 Duke and set out quite powered up
(though there are always the lulls at this place). Got some big floaty
jumps and rapid tacks, though the Vulcans aren't getting any better as I'm
initiating them from chop hops (as opposed to popping according to Guy
Cribb's recent article).
Managed a good few runs and enjoyed the sudden increase in wind with the
tropical squall, just like sailing in the UK except warmer.
It was then back for the condemned man's last supper. The weather cleared
up nicely for the ceremony. Unfortunately there were no windsurfers in the
background of the wedding photos.
